1. Trekking helps you stay fit during- and to get fit again after your pregnancy
2. It keeps you and your baby fit
3. Your baby will most likely develop passion for outdoor activities and respect for the environment
4. It's an excellent escape from daily routine
5. It's cheap (as long as you don't go for very expensive equipment)
6. It's fun (as long as you have somebody to carry the rucksack for you...)
I am sure there are many more reasons why it makes sense to take your baby on treks from an early age on, but those are the ones that came to my mind when trying to answer the question why it is good to go trekking with a baby.
